Benefits to you.

Consumers come to you

Don't chase consumers. We make sure they come to you.

Settle in 14 days

That's right. Our consumers settle on average in under 14 days (not 6 months).

Payment fees on us

We cover the annoying costs so you don't have to.

How it works.

Consumer finds us and submits an offer to settle (which is why you're receiving an email from us).

You can either reply to accept or to submit your own terms specifying total settlement amount, monthly payment (if it's a payment plan) and first payment date at least 7 days from today just like in this example!

Once either you or the consumer accepts, we will ask for payment details to send a check. Our vendor only accepts non-PO addresses.

When we receive the payment details, we'll send a follow-up asking for a pdf of the settlement agreement.

Other FAQs.

SoloSettle is a technology platform that allows consumers to initiate settlements on outstanding debts with collectors directly and entirely through digital communication.

No, SoloSettle is the provider of a software platform – it is not a debt settlement service. As a neutral, standalone, consumer-initiated platform, it lets consumers take full responsibility for their settlement offers. Our role is simply to provide the platform for consumers and collectors to engage—no bias, no input, and no influence on offers or decisions, unlike traditional debt settlement companies.

No, SoloSettle is the provider of a software platform – it is not a law firm or a collection agency. SoloSettle doesn't take sides or represent either collectors or consumers. Both parties remain fully self-represented, making their own decisions on offers and counteroffers.

Unfortunately, no. SoloSettle acts as a neutral bridge between you and the consumer ensuring all communications remain professional and unbiased. By positioning itself as a mediator, SoloSettle facilitates non-judgmental, smooth and balanced interactions between both parties. Additionally, the Authorization Letter that you receive with the email or on the dashboard specifically requests that you communicate with the consumer through SoloSettle. If you find limitations with the platform, please leave us a note on the Contact Us page.

Nothing at all. The consumer’s commitment to settling their debt through SoloSettle is so strong that they cover the technology fee making the platform completely cost-free for collectors. To ensure a consumer-friendly experience, this fee is only charged when a settlement is reached and is spread out over the settlement period. For example, if the fee is $200 and the settlement is for 20 months, the consumer pays just $10 per month.

The process begins with consumers completing a series of questions in our online app, including their name, collector details, case information, verification, financial hardship, and income/expense details. The consumer then submits a settlement offer. You will see the new offer on your dedicated organization's SoloSettle dashboard and in an email. From the dashboard or in response to the email, you may either Accept or make a Counteroffer. Once both parties agree on an amount, you can upload an agreement on SoloSettle, where the consumer can review, sign via DocuSign, and return it directly to you. See below questions on how to Accept or make a Counteroffer via SoloSettle.

SoloSettle offers a collector dashboard, providing a compliant and efficient solution for managing cases. Access your dashboard through the link provided in any offer email to view and manage your accounts, negotiate settlements, sign documents, and track collection progress.

No, you don't have to work on the Dashboard - although the Dashboard makes managing and responding to offers and counteroffers much easier. You can even upload the settlement agreement directly through the platform for the consumer to sign and return seamlessly. You can also use email if you would like.

No, you don’t need to create an account to start using SoloSettle. Once you respond to your first offer, we’ll set up your account and send you a Welcome Package by mail. If you need help or have any questions, please drop us a note on the Contact Us page and we’ll reach back out as soon as possible.

It's simple! When you need documents signed, you'll receive an email from SoloSettle requesting them. Just reply to the email and attach all the necessary documents as a single PDF. We'll handle the rest – sending the documents to the consumer via DocuSign for review and signature. Once signed, we'll return them directly to you.

Once a settlement is finalized, SoloSettle uses a payment processor to withdraw the payment from the consumer's account about 5 days before it's due. The payment is then sent to you immediately by ACH direct deposit. If you have not yet set up your direct deposit, the payment will be sent to you via 2-day UPS check. If you receive the payment by ACH, you'll receive an email with details identifying the consumer associated with the payment. For more security, compliance, and speed we recommend setting up ACH direct deposit.
